Sophomores and Juniors who will be attending Rocky Mountain. You need to turn in your Link Crew Leader application forms into Mr. Horning in room 123 today.

Come and find out the answers to the many questions you might have about Sleeping Beauty and Rumplestiltskin and other fairy tales by seeing the play presented by the MHS drama department May 12 through the 16 at 7:00 pm in the auditorium.

Attention all football players, if you have any unsold Golf Cards they are to be turned in today.  Fines will be issued.  If you have any questions, contact coach Crofts.   

History club members, there will be a meeting today at lunch in Mrs. Hogan's room.  All members must attend. 

It's time for the Dance Education Spring Show! Wednesday, May 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the Meridian High School Gymnasium.  Admission is Free! So come and have some fun.

Attention Seniors, for those of you who have work release agreements with Mr. Stands, you must turn in your time cards by May 23.  You must turn in your hours in order to receive credit.

Calling all ladies of MHS, today the Warwhoop newspaper is having their 2nd annual stud auction. Come and bid on a guy servant. Bidding should start at $5.00.

Attention Rocky Mountain students.  If you are interested in playing baseball at Rocky Mountain you need to attend a meeting Monday, May 19th at 7:00 pm at Sawtooth Middle School.  This meeting is for both you and your parents. A sign-up sheet for all players will be in the front office.

Interested in auditioning for Jazz band at Meridian High, please see Mr.  Felton in the band room to get the audition music and sign up for a time.  Auditions will be held on May 12 in the morning and May 13 in the morning and afternoon. 

Seniors who have been accepted or still applying to Boise State University , a representative from admissions, housing, orientation and financial aid will be in the career center to help you. Monday, May 12 during lunch time come down have some pizza and get your questions answered.

CPR of Idaho is hiring for part time summer help. You must be willing to work weekends and some evenings. Go to the job board next to the career center for more information and a phone number to call.

Part time Mothers helper, nanny in Northwest Meridian is wanted for summer employment. Go to the job board by the career center for more information.

Seniors, an Emergency Medical Technician Basic training program will be held on Tuesday, June 17 at 6:00 pm . If you are interested in this course come to the career center for more details.

If you would like to invest in the lives of freshmen by becoming a Link Crew Leader next year at Rocky Mountain, then pick up an application in the office and return it to Mr. Horning in room 123 by Friday, May 9. You will have an opportunity to come to the new high school a few days in August to work on this program.

Will Sleeping Beauty come to life? Will Rumplestiltskin be stopped before the prince and princess lose their baby? Only you can know the answer to these and other fairy tale questions. Come see the play Sleeping Beauty and Rumplestiltskin May 12 through the 16 at 7:00 pm in the MHS auditorium.

Attention all students, beginning next year Meridian high School will be offering digital photography, and will no longer have a darkroom photography program. If you are interested in taking digital photography you should talk to your counselor to reserve your space for next year.

Congratulations to Jon Stucker, RaeMarie Donaldson and Erin Johnston.  They represented Meridian High at the State Music Festival.  Jon placed first on Bass Clarinet, and RaeMarie place third on trumpet.  Go Warriors!

Youth Job Fair at Centennial High School , Saturday May 10 from 9 am to 10 pm. Register for work and interview with employers. Stop by the job board by the career center .

Seniors, time is running out to get your pictures and video in for the senior video to be shown Friday, May 23 during your Senior assembly. Do your part and make your own history to be remembered at MHS. You can bring your items to room 201, or talk to Andrea Barker about the photo bucket account.

All boys who are wrestling or interested in wrestling next year. An informational meeting regarding summer camps and work outs will be held today in room 227 at lunch.

Attention Senior student athletes! The Jim Reed Memorial Scholarship applications are available in the Career Center , Main Office, and Athletic Office. This is a great opportunity for one male and one female senior student athlete to earn a $250 scholarship to a college of choice . Deadline for sending in applications is May 9th.
