Senior Cheerleaders or Dancers who are interested in trying out for the University of Idaho Dance and Cheer teams need to see Coach McAllister, Coach Amy Brown or Mr. Bergquist for application forms and information. You can also pick up information in the main office.

MHS cheerleading tryouts for the 2008 and 2009 school year will take place in the main gym at 3:30 today.

Dance Tryout Clinics for the 2008-2009 year will take place in the main gym April 21st through April 25 at 4pm . Following the clinics on April 21 there will be a parent and student meeting to answer any and all questions you may have. Clinics will be held from 4 to 6, Monday through Thursday with actual tryouts on Friday starting at 4pm . Tryout packets are in the main office and if you have any questions please see Amy Brown in Room 106.

There will be a girls soccer meeting for parents and players on Monday, April 28 in the south cafeteria at 7:45 pm . Please see Steve Lynch for any questions at STEPHANLYNCH@HOTMAIL.COM !

Come be a part of the winning Warrior choir tradition. Auditions for the 2008-09 MHS Choirs will take place in the choir room Monday, April 21 through Wednesday, April 23, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm . Sign up for a time and pick up an audition packet in the choir room FA-4 as soon as possible.

The War Whoop Newspaper will be hosting the second annual Stud Auction. If you are interested in participating come to room 127 to pick up an information packet. Completed packets are due Monday, April 21.

Wrestlers of MHS, you must turn in all singlet's, warm-ups, bags and headgear to Coach Aldinger in room 227 today. Fines will be issued for missing equipment not turned in by this time.

Ladies of MHS, come to the career center today during lunch for Prom Dress Makeover Tips? Make your old dress look new, different or more modest. Your style is only limited to your imagination.

The 2008 Power Puff volleyball tournament will be held Monday, April 21 in the main gym at 6 pm . Cost is $2.00 per person to come watch your fellow classmates and teachers show off their skills.

A free summer camp is available for ninth grade girls from June 9 to the 13. It is a day camp call MAGIC which stands for Mentoring A Girl in Construction. Come by the career center for more information.

Registration for the “Miss Idaho Teen USA ” pageant is officially open. Stop by the career center for more information and applications.

Aquatech Pools is offering an exciting outdoor employment opportunity for local high school students. Learn swimming pool operation and care; gain experience in customer service and business operations and earn money for yourself, school or a local charity. Check the job board across from the career center for contact number and more information.

Congratulations are in order for Nikki Kelley, Eric Jimenez and Josh Bohrn for taking the Top Gold at State for FCCLA this past weekend. Nikki, Eric and Josh will be representing MHS as well as the State of Idaho at FCCLA Nationals this July in Orlando , Florida . Go Warriors and Go FCCLA!

Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Ricketts are leading a trip to Australia , New Zealand and Hawaii in the summer of 2009. If you want to learn more please attend a meeting Tuesday night, April 15 at 7:00 pm in room 223.

Please do not push or shove each other in the hallways. Someone was hurt by another's wreck less behavior. This is not acceptable. For the sake of safety, you will do the following: 1. Do not crowd the middle of the hallways before school, during break and lunch. Please move to the sides.2. When the first bell rings, please move to your class in an orderly manner. 3. Students who are pushing/shoving will be disciplined.4. Students who push or shove in such a way that cause an injury to another person will receive serious consequences. Please be thoughtful and courteous towards your fellow students and staff members. Thank You Mr. Stands.
